Kisah lebah berselawat?

 Kisah

Prophet (salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) addressing ‘Ali (radi Allahu ‘anhu) said:

Indeed this bee has made us his guests today. It said to me: I have placed for you some honey in that specific place. So send your brother Amir al-mu’minin to the place so that he may bring the same.

Thereupon Imam ‘Ali (radi Allahu ‘anhu) stood up and brought the honey.

[Then] the Prophet (salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) addressing the bee said:

O bee, surely your food is from the roses of flowers, and that is bitter [in taste]; so how does it change into sweet honey?

The bee replied:

O Messenger of Allah (salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), surely the sweetness of the honey comes from the blessing of mentioning your blessed name and the name [s] of your pure progeny; when we draw the nectar of the flowers we are inspired to invoke blessings upon you and your infallible progeny three times; therefore when we eat, the mention of salawat  turns our honey sweet.

atau versi Bahasa Melayu:

Suatu hari Rasulullah SAW sedang duduk bersama Sayyidina Ali bin Abi Thalib RA di kebun. Tiba-tiba ada seekor lebah yang terbang berkeliling di dekat Nabi Muhammad Saw.

“Ali, tahukah kau apa yang dikatakan lebah ini?” Tanya Rasulullah Saw.

“Tidak, Nabi.”

“Lebah ini sedang mengundang kita sebagai tamunya. Ia telah menyediakan madu di suatu tempat.” ucap Nabi Muhammad Saw sambil meminta Ali untuk mengambil madu tersebut.

Setelah Ali mengambil madu dari tempatnya,  Nabi Muhammad Saw pun berkata, “Lebah, makanan kalian adalah bunga-bunga yang pahit. Tapi kenapa kalian boleh menghasilkan madu yang teramat manis?”

“Wahai Nabi, manisnya madu ini berkat kami berselawat pada engkau dan keluarga engkau. Tiap kami menghisap sari bunga, saat itu pula kami mendapat ilham untuk berselawat sebanyak tiga kali pada engkau.” Ucap lebah. “Dan ketika kami mengucap Allahuma Shali Ala Sayyidina Muhammad Wa’ala Alih Sayyidina Muhammad, madu kami menjadi sangat manis.” Imbuhnya.

Kisah ini ditemukan dalam Khazinat al-Jawahir was lama’at al-Anwar, hal. 586, dan Maqasid al-Salikin hal. 53.

Kisah ini tiada asal dalam kitab muktabar sunnah menurut Maulana Suhail Motala dan Fatwa Syabakah Islamiyah no. 299113
